This was the most cost effective purchase available on Amazon and I have been using it daily. Drink mixes are available but can be costly but I have found that using 1 to 1.5 pkgs. of the single serve drink mixes work very well also. It is so simple to use and having 3 carafes makes it easy to stay ahead and have drinks on hand.

Such a great thing. Easy to use. Takes up very little space. Seltzer to your bubble-fizziness preference. Flavorings great.

Great addition to the kitchen and recommend it for anyone using carbonated drinks--even on a semi-regular basis. Great savings and also time and effort bringing beverages home from the store. We now know exactly what is in our drinks. The bottle caps need a little breaking-in as they leak the CO2 for 5-10 tries until the seal material softens enough to form a complete and tight seal. The company would be wise to make a note of this to customers.

I like that it is very easy to use but I worry about how quickly we went through the first cartridge. Two family members finished one carbonator in a week. At $30 a carbonating cartridge that’s too much.

It's great - came with a tiny bottle and a free rebate coupon - got the refill and it works great - I don't think it makes 60L if you like it really fizzy bc you have to keep pumping it after it airs out. It's great for me though bc i just like fizzy water so saves me having to carry seltzer water home all the time.

How did I not own a SodaStream before? I love carbonated water, but my town is awful with recycling so I hated buying a 12-pack of cans all the time just to toss in the trash. Best buy I've made in a long time! I think the Fizzi design (especially the white) is the classiest, but that may just be me!

I did a good amount of research before choosing this SodaStream. I toyed with the idea of getting the electric one touch model. But living in Florida during storm season the power can go out for extended periods of time. Then I had to decide between the Fizzi and the Source. A friend of mine has the Fizzi so I decided to get it. It is pretty light which is great if you want to store it on a shelf and only bring it out to use. Thanks to many of the reviews here I had no problem using it and creating a very fizzy/bubbly drink. I did get a little over zealous on my first try I held the button down a second or two to long and some did spray out. But it was hardly a mess all over the kitchen like some negtive reviews have stated. It was a little tiny spray. I already have several syrups on hand that I make for my shaved ice machine. I just purchased some citric acid in order to make some sour syrups. I like the quality of the bottles. I did buy some .05 L ones because those serve our purposes better. My soda came out very fizzy!! I did use very cold water from the fridge. To make syrups I use 2 cups water to 2 cups sugar or stevia bring to a boil disolve the sweetener then remove from heat and add your koolaid packet. I have also used juice. 4 cups reduced by about 75% You can add a little sugar if it is a tart juice like cranberry. I am excited for future creations! Edit to add~ You must tilt the bottle after fizzing in order to add your syrup/drops or it will bubble over :)

Have to get used to bottle insertion to avoid blowing water all over when removing. To me the instructions were not really clear on that.

I was drinking 3-4 liters a day of bottled sparkling water and I hated all those empty bottles, and I got the Soda Stream and I now make my own sparkling water every day and it is awesome and I am not using disposable bottles anymore. The only complaint I have is that it's hard to find replacement CO2 cartridges in my area and I have to go far (60 miles) to get them or pay online prices which are twice as expensive as picking them up at a retailer.

Have been wanting to buy a soda stream for a long time. Finally got one. It is wonderful! Easy to use! Quality product! Like the compact size. Will recommend to friends and family!
