Tất cả chanh, cam đều cắt đôi. Một nửa trái chanh xanh cắt làm 3 lát. Trong một chén, trộn 2 muỗng canh dầu Mazola Corn, 1 muỗng canh đường và ¼ muỗng cà phê muối. Sử dụng cọ phết hỗn hợp lên mặt cắt mỗi miếng chanh.
Làm nóng lò nướng ở nhiệt độ trung bình. Đặt các mặt cắt của chanh xướng dưới chảo. Nướng trong 3 phút, với những lát chanh mỏng thì lật mặt kia xuống nướng thêm một lúc. Sau đó chuyển chanh ra khay.
Để lại một lát chanh và một nửa trái chanh đẻ trong trí còn lại vắt nước qua rây lưới. Khuấy hỗn hợp nước hoa quả trong rượu tequila và rượu cam. Cho hỗn hợp vào tủ lạnh ít nhất 15 phút.
Sử dụng một miếng chanh xát quanh miệng ly tạo độ ẩm. Sau đó lăn vành miệng ly vào muối (hoặc đường) để muối bám vào quanh miệng ly.
Sau đó chỉ việc rót cocktail Margarita ra ly, thêm đá và thưởng thức.
